August 20 – Air Time

Moments move like minutes when I watch monarchs sail on the summer breeze. 

Flying and floating in circles big and small. 

With free form figure 8s of tight lefts and extended rights, and all the variations in between. 

Twitch here, go there. 

Flap twice, flutter up and away. 

Soaring out of sight or gliding back around.

This monarch looks brand new, and those wings want to fly.
